Directions

If you are traveling

FROM I-26

From I-26 go to I-40 East and follow the directions below

EAST-BOUND OR WEST-BOUND ON I-40

Get off on exit 53-B and once off of the ramp, make an immediate turn onto exit #8

Stay in the right lane and turn right at the traffic light (Fairview Road)

Drive to the second light and turn right on Swannanoa River Road, also called Hwy. 81.  There will be a Shell station on your left.

Drive 1 mile and turn right on Rhododendron Road (just before traffic light on Tunnel Road).  This will bring you into the log cabin neighborhood.

THEN

Turn right on the second street–Pinewood Road, and drive ONLY about 50 feet

Turn left at the small intersection at the top of the hill.  There is no street sign there, but you will see a small green cottage on your left.

Take almost an immediate left onto Azalea Drive

Drive one block and take a right on Spruce Drive.  You will find the Silver Moon (#45) and the Robin’s Nest (#46) on the left.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have a GPS system in your car, IGNORE those directions once you arrive in the Asheville area and follow mine!  The GPS system gives an awkward approach to the neighborhood and you may get lost!

Both carports have rather low clearance; so if you are driving a van or SUV, please park in the adjacent area provided.
